Health Tip: Signs That You May Have Mono

(HealthDay News) -- Mononucleosis, often dubbed "mono," is a viral infection that causes a range of symptoms that may be mild to severe.

The American Academy of Family Physicians offers this list of common symptoms:

  • Running a fever.
  • Having a sore throat.
  • Feeling weak and fatigued.
  • Having swollen glands in the armpits and neck.
  • Having loss of appetite.
  • Sweating at night.
