We know that exercise is good for us, and we also know that it can be hard to fit a workout into a busy schedule. But did you know that exercise can actually improve the quality of life of those who have had breast cancer treatment? The University of Miami has now proven that physical activity after treatment reduces stress and improves a woman’s overall wellbeing. It can even reduce depression and fatigue as well.
So get your walking shoes on! You don’t have to go to a gym to get the exercise that your body needs. Power walking, going up and down steps--it all counts. Make an effort to get 30 minutes of exercise time in at least 3 times a week.
