Sorry you are confused Jon. Fact is the ideas in this article are counter to being Corporate America as going on a Mediterranean diet pushes you away from big business pre-processed packaged food. feastie, if you can't stand the fish then just go with chicken or pork that is free range. If the meat is not primarily grain fed then it will have a higher proportion of omega3 fatty acids that make the fish beneficial. That goes for beef also.

This yahoo so called health page is clearly here to confuse people! Cant tell if your realy concerned or have ulterior motives?Most of the time I see the picture of Lisa and get mixed feelings! She is working for corporate america or she is realy ignorant! Sorry but most of your advice should not be printed,its just not true!

This is groundbreaking? The Mediterranean Diet came out as a book about ten years ago. Nothing like new news.

That's all well and good ... but I cannot stand the smell, the texture or the flavor of any fish or seafood. What do you suggest in that case? People who write these diets and reviews of them don't account for personal tastes and offer substitutions. You just think everyone eats fish. I can't eat it. I've been known to leave restaurants where the odor is too strong for me with my food on the table.
