My husband loves dark chocolate, and eats it ever day, but it never makes him gain any weight. Guess he's one of the lucky ones!!

What bothers me about all this "chocolate is good for you" talk is that no one ever mentions the deleterious effects of the various methylxanthines in chocolate: theobromine, theophylline and caffeine. It's a double-edged sword - there are some good things in chocolate, as the article states, but there are bad things also. For me, I prefer to avoid bad things.
I love the stuff. I could eat a slew of it. Yum-yum. If it involves chocolate, I will be there.
I eat chocolate like a Conehead every day, and look at me...
